Moss Hushpuppy MixHushpuppy Mix, Moss', Water Ground StyleOver 100 yrs proven cornmeal products. Member North Carolina Millers Association. Enriched Corn Meal: Eight ounces of enriched corn meal supply not less than the following proportions of the adult minimum daily requirements for these essential food substances: thiamine (100%); riboflavin (50%); niacin (80%), iron (65%); and calcium (33%).

Ingredients: Enriched Corn Meal, Enriched Wheat Flour (Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin, Mononitrate, Riboflavin, and Folic Acid), Sugar, Salt, Monocalcium Phosphate, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate.

Directions:

Instructions: Just add water. Directions for Using Hushpuppy Mix: To 1 cup Hush Puppy Mix add 2/3 cup water. Stir thoroughly until batter will drop from end of spoon into hot fat at 350 degrees F. Note: the hush puppy does not cook thoroughly in the center if too much liquid is used. If enough liquid is not used, the outer appearance is rough and the hush puppy is not as light. Hush puppy mixture drops from the spoon easier if the spoon is dipped in a cup of cold water frequently. For round hush puppies, use a small spoon. For long hush puppies drop from side of tablespoon. For corn bread add water, mix and bake at 450 degrees F for about 20 minutes.
