Instructions: OVEN INSTRUCTIONS: You Will Need: One pouch of coating mix, shaker bag and choice of meat: 2 ½ pounds bone-in chicken pieces (about 6 pieces), 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast (6-8 breasts), or 6 to 8 bone-in or boneless pork chops (1 ½ inch thick). 1. PREHEAT: Heat oven to 400 F. 2. MIX: Pour the pouch of dry mix into the bag provided. 3. MOISTEN: Moisten thawed chicken or pork in water, milk and/or lightly beaten egg. Remove excess liquid. 4. COAT: Place chicken or pork in a bag with batter mix. Shake until pieces are evenly coated. 5. BAKE: Place meat on a non-stick baking sheet or baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Follow instructions: Cook chicken until internal temperature reaches 165 F. Boneless chicken: about 25-35 minutes (depending on thickness). Bone-in chicken: about 45 minutes. Cook pork until internal temperature reaches 160 F. Boneless or bone-in pork chops: about 25 minutes. Do not turn meat while baking. 6. OPTIONAL BROIL: After baking for recommended time, broil chicken or pork for 5 minutes or until desired crispiness. AIR FRYER: For a quick meal, cook boneless or bone-in chicken in an air fryer for 12 minutes at 360 F. Discard bag and unused coating.
